Integrating Robotics and Electronics Innovations with Technology Curriculum
Quokkabotics is a project funded under an Australian Schools Innovation in Science, Technology and Mathematics (ASISTM (http://www.asistm.edu.au ) ) award. The project aims to establish a collaborative group comprising cluster schools, tertiary and further education institutions, industry representatives and professional associations to support and foster the integration of innovative robotics and engineering projects into the technology curriculum.
Each school is given assistance to develop an introductory robotics and engineering program that will culminate in the schools competing in the annual Robocup competition and also in an Engineering Challenge developed in conjunction with industry representatives.
![]() The Quokkabots are participating in Power Puzzle, which is the FIRST LEGO League challenge for 2007. The Australian Challenge will be held on 24 November in Cairns.
